Japjee (13), a Class VIII student of Kendriya Vidyalaya No II, Jalandhar Cantt, who has been admitted to the PGI, Chandigarh, needs financial help.
Japjee was diagnosed with a typical type of rare lung cancer this year in June. Luckily, it was the first stage and her family managed to take care of the preliminary treatment through a series of chemotherapy sessions and other relevant procedure, which were mostly performed at the PGI.
Now, at a last stage of major treatment, she needs to undergo Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT), stem cells usually derived from bone marrow. The cost of the procedure at the PGI is approximately Rs 8 lakh. Her family has arranged about Rs 3 lakh through their sources.
Her father Harpreet Singh, who is an electrician, had exhausted all his funds on the preliminary treatment. He needs about Rs 5 lakh to save his daughter. As a matter of self respect, he wants the money not as a donation but possibly as an interest-free loan or perhaps an advance for which he can render his services over a period of time.
He said if one pay him Rs 10,000, he can render his services for electrification or refrigeration for as much time, till the value of his service reach Rs 10,000 completes.
For more information about the patient, one can contact her father, Harpreet Singh on his mobile number, 9417130171 and may deposit money in Harpreet Singh’s bank account 1549000105149270, Punjab National Bank, IFSC Code PUNB0223100.
