The Green Village Welfare Society, Binewal, organised the fifth voluntary blood donation camp dedicated to the martyrdom day of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha at Shri Vishwakarma Mandir Adda Jhungian (Binewal) under the guidance of the District Red Cross Society and technical support of Blood Donor Council, Nawanshahr.

As many as 136 donors donated blood in the camp. The camp was inaugurated by Varun Soni.

Like every year, this time also young boys and girls were motivated to donate blood in the camp.

During the camp, special tribute was paid to the late members of the Green Village Welfare Society, Principal Nandkishore Soni, senior teacher Santosh Soni and young blood donor Gaurav Sohal (Kashi) of Binewal. Manav Soni (USA) honoured the blood donors.

IAS officer Yog Raj Mera, former MLA Surinder Singh Bhullewal Rathan, Comrade Darshan Singh Mattoo, social worker Joga Singh Mubarakpur specially participated in the blood donation camp.

During the camp, Dr Ajay Bagga BTO, Rajiv Bhardwaj, Malkit Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Mohit Rana, Deepak Sharma, Priyanka, Madam Sunaina and the entire team of the blood bank did the great job.
