In a fresh incident of attack by pit bulls in the city, a pair of dogs of the same breed simultaneously attacked and mauled an elderly passerby at New Dashmesh Nagar.

It is learnt that a woman owner of the dogs tried to prevent the canine from attacking the man but she failed to pull them back despite help from others in the area. The incident got captured on CCTV camera put up outside a house in the area. The camera recording showed that while one dog attacked the man first, the woman managed to retrieve him back. But soon after another pit bull came rushing pounced and attacked the same person again who lost his balance and fell down. In the meantime, the first dog too returned and both attacked him together as everyone helplessly tried to save the elderly.

The matter has been reported at the Bhargo Camp police station and cops said they were investigating the case. This is the seventh incident of attack by the pit bulls in the city in the last three months.
