A quarterly conference of associate NCC officers was organised by 2 Punjab NCC Battalion at its headquarters in Jalandhar.

As many as 25 officers from different institutions attended the conference. Commanding Officer Colonel Vinod Joshi discussed issues regarding the upcoming national camps, selection of cadets, training courses for ANOs’ and instructors of Indian Army in detail during the conference.

Col Joshi said the faculty of teaching institutions were the backbone of the NCC’s activities. He said NCC officers prepared cadets for various examinations and guided them into getting commissioned in the armed forces.
