The three robbers struck at the shop when the entire city was busy celebrating Janmashtami.
As per CCTV footage captured by the police, one of the accused kept standing outside while the other two entered the shop.
One of the accused jumped over the counter and attempted to withdraw cash but the shop owner resisted and after a scuffle between the robber and shop owner Ramesh Bansal, the accused succeeded in taking the cash from the counter.
Both robbers came out of the shop and sat on the bike. The third accused was already waiting outside on the bike and they fled towards New Model Town.
