Rampreet Singh, a resident of Sher Pur village living in Canada, complained to the police that he came to India for two weeks and met his old friend Amrit Pal Singh, a resident of Poadharra at Pasla village on February 15 and promised to meet him in the evening.

The NRI said in his complaint that the accused Amrit Pal told him to meet his other old friends and started driving toward Bansian village.
