A total of 7 persons, belonging to Sigligar community, reached by way of ravines at Chakk Rautan village by skipping police checkpoints (nakas) from Himachal Pradesh. Dr Raghuveer Singh, SMO of PHC Posi, got information that some people of Sigligar community were approaching to Garhshankar through ravines from Himachal Pradesh.

He informed the SHO Garhshankar Iqbal Singh and SI Satwinder Singh, in-charge of Beenwal police post. On this, Health Department and the police started a search operation and finally found them on the foot track leading from the ravine near village Chakk Rautan.

The team then evacuated some of the slum dwellers of Sigligar community in Chakk Rautan village. The SMO said seven persons, who had reached there were home quarantined. He said samples of everybody had been collected. He said the danger of infection was increasing because people were coming from illegal routes as borders were sealed. Keeping this in mind everyone should inform the administration immediately if any such person was seen on the order to keep the infection at bay.
