Senior BJP Kisan Morcha leader and national farmers’ representative Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today (Saturday) launched a blistering attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government in Punjab, describing it as the “worst, most incompetent and directionless” regime the state has ever seen.

Grewal did not hold back, stating, “Bhagwant Mann has completely destroyed Punjab. He is not a Chief Minister – he’s a stand-up comedian drunk on power and arrogance, watching the state burn while hiding behind PR stunts and orders from Delhi.”

The BJP leader condemned the AAP government for turning Punjab into a “battleground of lawlessness, drug mafias and economic collapse.” He claimed, “The so-called ‘badlav’ promised by AAP has turned into a nightmare. Farmers are in debt, youth are dying due to synthetic drugs (Chitta), industry is fleeing and the common man is crushed under rising electricity bills – all while the CM is busy in Delhi and making TikTok-style videos.”

According to Grewal, the government has failed in every key area – from agriculture and employment to education, law and order and governance. He compared Punjab’s leadership to a circus, with Bhagwant Mann playing the role of the “clown-in-chief.”

“Punjabis are not fools. They can see through this hollow drama and they will show AAP the door in 2027 – if not earlier,” Grewal said.

He accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of betraying the state’s farmers, saying, “You came to power riding on the backs of farmers’ pain and now you’ve left them to die in the fields. Not a single pro-farmer policy has been implemented. All we get is drama, noise and broken promises.” In a call to action, Grewal urged all Punjabis to unite and rise against the current government. “We will not remain silent while our Punjab is looted and insulted every day. This is a call to every proud Punjabi: wake up, speak up and rise up against this arrogant, clueless and anti-Punjab regime,” he said.
