Amid rising water levels of the Beas, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Varinderpal Singh Bajwa on Saturday visited flood-affected areas in Dhilwan to review ongoing relief operations. He was accompanied by SDM Devi Goel.

The ADC said that relief efforts were being carried out on a war footing in the affected villages, including Mand Talwandi Kuka, Mand Indarpur, Mand Rawan, Dhakkaran, and Mand Kamalpur.

Two boats have been deployed in the region, along with the distribution of tarpaulin sheets. He urged residents not to believe in rumours and to contact the district helpline at 01822-271829 for any assistance.
