Ration and other essential supplies are being delivered door-to-door to residents who remain in the flood-affected villages of Sultanpur Lodhi. Despite large-scale evacuation efforts, several individuals continue to stay in their homes, prompting the administration to reach them via SDRF boats.

Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Panchal stated that approximately 1,200 members from 240 families have been safely evacuated from Sultanpur Lodhi. However, with some residents still in place, the administration is actively working to ensure their safety and well-being.

Three separate teams, led by SDM Alka Kalia, distributed 97 ration kits across the affected areas. The teams visited individual homes, listened to residents’ concerns, and assured them of all possible assistance.

In addition to food relief, Health Department teams conducted door-to-door medical checkups and provided necessary medicines. Partap Singh, a resident of Baupur village, confirmed that the administration had supplied them with ration and medicines both yesterday and today.

Efforts are also underway to safeguard livestock. Teams from the Animal Husbandry Department are administering essential vaccinations to animals on a house-to-house basis.
