He said, “I rose late in the morning today and the day started in a relaxing mood that continued for almost the whole day. A little walk, a bit of cycling and spending some time with the family. I shared a cup of tea and ideas with my supporters. On the whole, the day was a relaxing one and I energised myself for the challenges to come.”

The Congress candidate Advocate Ranjit Kumar resumed his duties at the district court today. He said, “For me, it was the day to join back my routine as I had to get back to work after a month. I got up and had my breakfast with my father mother and wife as I do in normal routine. I reached my chamber in the district courts complex at 9:45 am. The day was a hectic one with much work to do, appear in the courts for clients besides meeting and taking calls of the workers, well-wishers, friends and supporters.”

The BJP candidate Sohan Singh Thandal cleared election-related bills and met some of his supporters. He stated, “My supporters and friends kept coming to meet me. I assigned duties to the counting agents. The whole day went by meeting people and doing preparations for the counting day. I have been in politics for long and contested a number of elections so there was nothing new for me today.”
