An after school programme —The English Wizard—was organised by the ‘The Stepping Stone’. The programme includes homework assistance, Abacus / Vedic mathematics, arts and craft, music and recreation.

The event was just for Kids. A total of 30 students were enrolled in the programme that provided two hours of supervised English games to stimulate the students in the age group of 5 to12 years. The students from sevenschools participated in th event. Programs like these offer a chance for participants to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyze and gauge new ideas. Competitions play a role in motivating students to perform and excel and offer a lot more reward than just the winning prize.

Very few opportunities in the average student life provide such exposure and realistic outlook towards the competitive nature of real life. Students through brainstorming sessions, rapid problem-solving sequences experience a totally diverse form of learning, which they usually don’t practice in their schools.
