Keeping in view the demands of pilgrims planning to pay obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Patna Sahib, the Railway Board has sanctioned the stoppage of 12317/12318 Amritsar-Kolkata Akal Takht Express at Phagwara railway station from January 15.

This was stated by Union Minister of State Som Parkash and former minister Vijay Sampla in two different press notes released here today.

As per schedule, the train will start from Amritsar and arrive in Phagwara at 7.26 am and will depart at 7.27 am. On its return route from Kolkata towards Amritsar, it will arrive in Phagwara at 3.07 pm and depart at 3.08 pm.

This train will stop at Varanasi Kashi and Patna Sahib, bringing great convenience to the devotees.
