B.Tech student commits suicide

A B.Tech (Biotechnology) student at a private university located on the Phagwara-Jalandhar highway allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his PG room. The deceased has been identified as Rohan Kamboj. His body has been sent to the local civil hospital for post-mortem examination.

According to a complaint filed by Rohan’s father, Anil Kumar, a resident of Yusufkhedi village, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the deceased was being mentally harassed by a man, identified as Kartik Yadav, son of Sudesh Kumar Yadav, from Dwarka, Delhi.

Based on the complaint, police have registered a case against Kartik Yadav for allegedly forcing Rohan to commit suicide.
