Leader of the Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa on Wednesday attended a meeting called by communist leaders on creating an awakening on the issue of increasing communal issues across the country.

Bajwa attended the meeting on the call of CPI secretary Bant Brar, RMPI leader Mangat Ram Pasla and others at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall today.

All members were of the opinion that the BJP-led Centre was creating conditions which could be a threat to religious tolerance. They said the situation was becoming increasingly dangerous for the political, cultural, economic and law and order issues affecting the people.
