A road accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist near Atta village in Goraya on Friday.

The accident involved an SUV and a motorcycle. Hitesh Sharma, a resident of Pathankot, was travelling with his family from Pathankot to Gurugram. Passing through Goraya, his vehicle collided with a motorcycle.

Witnesses at the scene reported that the motorcycle rammed into the SUV and was dragged for several meters. The impact of the collision and the horrifying sight left bystanders in shock.

The deceased has been identified as Jhalman Singh, a resident of Rurka Khurd village near Goraya.

The police have impounded both vehicles and initiated investigation into the cause of the accident.
