Senior BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal has strongly condemned the recent attack on the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brompton, Canada, by supporters of Khalistan. Speaking to journalists here on Monday, Grewal described the actions as intolerable.

He expressed outrage at the protest against Indian consulate officials who were there for a document attestation camp organised by the temple committee. “It is shameful the American flag was misused during these violent activities,” he said.

Grewal emphasised such behaviour does not reflect the values of any community and should be condemned by everyone who advocates for peace and justice. He also criticised the Canadian government for allowing these acts by anti-Indian forces, warning they could damage relations between India and Canada.

He urged the Canadian government to take firm action against those responsible, noting such incidents could severely impact communal harmony both in India and Canada.
