Senior BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal has launched a scathing attack on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for allegedly mocking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent diplomatic visits to Global South nations, including Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Brazil, Argentina and Namibia. Grewal termed Mann’s remarks “shameful, immature and intoxicated,” accusing the AAP leader of ridiculing India’s foreign policy by inventing fictional names of countries in public address.

“While PM Modi is working to strengthen India’s global ties, Mann chooses to insult these efforts with drunken theatrics. This is a national embarrassment,” Grewal said.

He lauded the Ministry of External Affairs and External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar for calling Mann’s comments “irresponsible and regrettable,” and demanded a public apology from the Punjab CM.
