Bowling machine, cricket net installed by Dasuya Cricket Association

Hoshiarpur, February 19

New bowling machine and cricket net were installed by the Dasuya Cricket Association (DCA) here.

Hoshiarpur Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal and Gurdaspur Deputy Commissioner Dr Himanshu Agarwal were chief guests on the occasion.

• Hoshiarpur Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal extended her support to the DCA and appreciated their endeavours. She said by promoting sports the generation can be freed from drugs.

Dasuya MLA Karambir Singh Ghuman’s father Jagmohan Singh Babbu and Dr Daljit Singh Khela and Dr Raman Ghai from HCA joined as special guests.

The founder of DCA, Milen Singh Cheema, apprised the guests about the achievements of the association. Komal Mittal extended her support to the DCA and appreciated their endeavours.

She said by promoting sports the generation can be freed from drugs. Dr Ghai announced making DCA a sub-centre of Hoshiarpur Cricket Association and spoke about providing world-class facilities to the players.

Jagmohan Singh Ghuman announced a grant of over Rs 1 lakh by appreciating the work of Dasuya MLA to the DCA on the occasion. Dr Himanshu Agarwal praised the spirit of the players and boosted their morale.

Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal and Dr Himanshu Agarwal formally inaugurated the bowling machine and cricket net installed by the association.
