Abetment to suicide: Cop among 10 booked in Jalandhar

Jalandhar, August 2
In connection with suicide of a hairdresser, the Sadar police have booked 10 persons, including a cop, for abetment to suicide.
Baljeet Kumar (32), alias Gora, a resident of Kukkad pind, ended his life by consuming some poisonous substance on Saturday.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Gurdayal Hira said on the basis of statements of the elder brother of the victim and suicide note recovered from the spot, we have registered a case against Gora’s wife, his in-laws and a constable.
A case bas been registered under Section 306 of the IPC against the suspects.
