The GST and Taxation Bar in collaboration with the Industry and State GST Department, Jalandhar, conducted an awareness drive-cum-interaction session to discuss the technical and issues related to PSDT.

Paramjit Singh, DETC, (Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner), Jalandhar, elaborated on the burning issue of Punjab State Development Tax (PSDT).

Paramjit asked the trade and industry to guide its members and general public to deposit the tax of Rs200 per month of last three years to the state government by March 31 and get the registration at the earliest.

The DETC also added that nodal officers have been appointed in each district for the benefit of public.

All the ETOs from Jalandhar division were also present in the brainstorming session.
