The Nakodar city police have arrested a brother-sister proclaimed offenders (POs), absconding for the last three years. According to the Investigating Officer (IO), the accused has been identified as Banti, son of Baldev, a resident of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura, Nakodar, and his sister Geeta. The IO said the accused are wanted in a case of rape, criminal conspiracy and under provisions of the

POCSO Act.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
