The 25th Foundation Day and the festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated in Seth Hukam Chand SD Public Senior Secondary School. President Naresh Budhia and Principal Priyanka Sharma, garlanded Goddess Saraswati and prayed that the students be blessed with wisdom, health, fame and a bright future. A special hawan ceremony was conducted in the school campus to invoke the blessings of the Almighty. All the dignitaries, staff members and students joined in this sacred ritual. They put (oblations) Aahutis in the hawan while chanting the sacred mantras and prayed for the continued growth and prosperity of the institution. The hawan was performed with divine fervour and spirituality. The occasion marked a significant chapter in our school’s history. Principal Priyanka Sharma wished the entire staff and students many more milestones of success and achievement.

Basant Panchami celebrated

Ivy World Play School, Civil Lines, celebrated Basant Panchami under the guidance of Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal and Principal Sanjeev Chauhan. Ivyians celebrated the festival with zeal and excitement. The vibrant event marked the arrival of spring. The day started with worshipping of Goddess Sarswati in which all the students and teachers sought the blessings of the deity. The students also participated in kite flying and enjoyed eating different yellow-coloured dishes. The students wore bright yellow and cheerful clothes to enhance the festive mood. It was a day filled with abundant joy and happiness. The enthusiastic participation of Ivyians was appreciated by the school management.

Prayers offered to Goddess

State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt, celebrated Basant Panchami in the most unique way. Prayers were offered by the kids before Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, music, art and science. The day also marks the beginning of the spring season and this alone is a reason to rejoice and celebrate. The kids of kindergarten were all dressed in yellow attire and brought yellow cuisines to mark the day. Yellow is a colour that signifies the vibrancy of life and the vividness of nature. It is also known to be the colour of love, prosperity and purity. President of Group of State Public Schools Dr Narotam Singh and Principal Savina Bahl were glad to witness such a superb celebration and wished all a happy Basant Panchami.

Awareness against Chinese string

Basant Panchami was celebrated in ‘The Gurukul’ school. The kids were given the message to stay away from the harmful Chinese string. A prayer meeting was organised in which the principal and all the students and teachers worshipped Goddess Saraswati. All the students were made aware of the importance of this day through speeches and poetry recitation.
