SPS Victory Carnival

Jalandhar: The campus of State Public School radiated joy and celebration during the SPS Victory Carnival, a vibrant event filled with colours. A cheque of Rs 50,000 was given to Army Women's Welfare Association on the occasion. Children enjoyed slides, swings and thrilling adventure play zones. The grounds were lined with varied food stalls offering delectable cuisines, game stalls packed with fun challenges, and a dance floor where students and parents grooved together.

Students visit DC office

Jalandhar: Students of Seth Hukam Chand SD Public Senior Secondary School, Sangal Sohal, visited the District Administrative Complex under Project Chetan launched by the Deputy Commissioner (DC). The DC had questionnaire session with students and delivered a motivational speech on the occasion. Students also visited different administrative offices in the tehsil complex and gained information about work.

Jalandhar: Cambridge International School celebrated achievements of its young martial artistes Kunwar Raj Singh, Gurransh Singh and Jasmeet Simak, who showcased skill and determination at the recent karate championships by clinching gold medals. Kunwar (Grade 2 student) emerged as a double gold medallist, clinching top honours in the under-10 age group and under-30 kg weight category at the Sixth International North India Open Karate-Do Championship held in Pathankot. His stellar performance also earned him the coveted "Yellow Belt: recognition. Earlier, he had represented Kapurthala district at the 10th Open Punjab State Karate-Do Championship 2023 in Amritsar, where he continued his winning streak. Gurransh Singh (Grade 4 student) secured second place in both the under-10 category and the 50 kg weight division at the same event. He also repeated his success at the Punjab State Championship, bringing further glory to the school. Jasmeet Simak (Grade 8 student) dominated the Under-17 age group and 40 kg weight category, winning first place in both the international open and the Punjab State Karate-Do Championship 2025. Principal Jorawar Singh honoured the champions with certificates of appreciation and lauded their dedication.

National Innovation Conclave

Jalandhar: Ivy World School participated in the National Innovation Conclave organised by Chandigarh University at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall, Jalandhar. The conclave provided a dynamic platform for young scientific minds to present their innovative ideas, technological prototypes, and solutions to real-world challenges. A total of five teams from Ivy World School showcased their projects, each reflecting creativity, scientific understanding, and practical applicability. Group 1 designed a smoke automated remote-control car. Team 2 showcased the Dharamitra Vermicomposter, an eco-friendly system. Team 3 developed a smart traffic signal for ambulance priority. Panel four introduced Hydro Nova, a smart tap that dispenses a pre-set quantity of water to prevent wastage and promote conservation. Unit 5 presented an autonomous thermal vehicle powered by semiconductor and sensor-based thermal energy. The school secured the second position among all participating institutions and received a cash prize of Rs 10,000.

Job Fair Held at CT Group

Jalandhar: CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur campus, organised a France Job Fair under the visionary initiative "Job for all." This initiative was launched by Chairman Charanjit Singh Channi. Individuals from diverse backgrounds participated in the fair and benefitted from accessible career pathways. In all, 118 candidates appeared for interviews, of which 64 were shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process.
