The Alumni Committee of the School of Management and the Institution’s Innovation Council at Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus organised an Alumni Talk for Management students to prepare them for the corporate world. Esteemed alumni Col JPS Cheema, Managing Director of HireRightt, and Dr Wishey Kataria, Manager of Corporate Governance at PHF Leasing, shared their experiences. Col Cheema emphasised the importance of knowledge, awareness of the business environment, and the three C’s — confidence, courage, and competition — for personal and professional growth. Dr Kataria encouraged students to adopt an extroverted approach, which he explained is vital for career success and personal development.

Inter-University Football Tournament

GNA University is set to host the All-India Inter-University Football Tournament (Women) from January 11 to 16. Sixteen teams from across India will compete, with 350 athletes, coaches, and managers participating. This is the fifth time GNA University has hosted the championship. The event will be inaugurated by Chancellor Gurdeep Singh Sihra, Vice-Chancellor Dr Hemant Sharma, Registrar Kunal Bains, and Dean Academics Dr Monika Hanspal, along with other dignitaries.

55 Trees Planted at college

Van Mahotsav was celebrated at Mehr Chand Polytechnic College with the plantation of 55 trees, supported by the Disha Deep NGO. The event featured Ajay Goswami, Secretary of the DAV College Managing Committee, as the chief guest, and Raman Dutt, president of the Indo-American Friendship Society, as the special guest. Principal Dr Jagroop Singh welcomed the guests, along with the head of Disha Deep NGO, SM Singh.

Workshop on Physiotherapy

The Department of Physiotherapy at CT Institute of Higher Studies organized a two-day workshop on advanced physiotherapy techniques, including taping, manipulation, and fascia flossing. Renowned expert Dr. Rishabh Arora led the workshop, providing participants with hands-on experience and international certifications.
