The celebration commenced with a solemn tribute to the legendary player. The school honoured its outstanding student (athletes) who achieved success in various sports disciplines. A meticulously organised chess tournament captivated participants and spectators alike. The event showcased strategic prowess and mental agility, reflecting the essence of sportsmanship and competition. Principal Rachna Monga expressed immense pride in the students’ achievements and reiterated the school’s commitment in nurturing talent.
CT gets Health Ambassador
Jalandhar: On the occasion of National Sports Day, CT Group of Institutions felicitated Harminder Dulowal, Asian gold medallist and renowned vegetarian bodybuilder, as its new health ambassador. The event, held at CT Group’s campus, was marked by an expert talk from Dulowal, who shared insights into his remarkable journey, highlighting the importance of fitness, nutrition and perseverance in achieving personal goals. Navjot Kaur moderated the event engaging the audience and guiding the flow of activities. Dr Sangram Singh, director of academic operations, and Dr Arjan Singh, Dean of Student Welfare, who both emphasised the critical role of sports, fitness, and a healthy lifestyle in education and personal development.
Hindi Poem Recitation Competition
Jalandhar: An inter-house Hindi poem recitation competition for Classes I and II was held at Shiv Jyoti Public School. A total of 25 students participated in the competition. Of the Class I participants, Aarohi Sehgal bagged the first position while Riyanshi and Amayra got the second position. Rabpreet Kaur Bhatia stood third. In Class II, Rupneet Singh Bhatia and Khushant Kohli bagged the best speaker award. The final judgement was made by Surinder Sethi and Suman Narula. Overall activity was conducted by coordinator Veenu Aggarwal. Principal Parveen Saili acknowledged the efforts of the students and staff members.
Investiture Ceremony
Jalandhar: The investiture ceremony of Student Council session 2024-25 was organised at State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt. Students were given various posts and assigned responsibilities for the disciplined and conduct of academic, cultural, sports activities of the school. School president Dr Narottam Singh and vice-president Dr Gagandeep Kaur were chief guests. The students saluted the chief guests while marching past. School principal Savina Bahl presented a memento to the guests. During the programme, the students of the school presented a cultural programme. The guests honoured the newly-elected student council representatives of the school by wearing berets and scarves.
