The incident took place at 2 pm when the girl was going to her home with her friends when suddenly she changed her route, kept her bag on a wall and climbed the water tank after which she jumped off. A video of her was also going viral on social media.

The police said she got saved because she didn’t fall directly on the road, but got hit by a pipe first before hitting the road. SHO, Nawanshahr, said the parents didn’t say anything. “The girl is in a hospital. We will ask her in the morning,” he said. — TNS
