On a thanksgiving tour across the city after the Jalandhar West bypoll victory of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party, Dr Gurpreet Kaur Mann, wife of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, paid obeisance at several religious places this morning.

Accompanied by party workers, she visited Bhagat Kabir Temple in Bhargo Camp and thanked the Bhagat community for wholeheartedly supporting party candidate Mohinder Bhagat in the bypoll. She also visited Gurdwara Chhevi Patshahi and Udasin Ashram here. She also spent more than half an hour at the Devi Talab Mandir.

Accompanied by Jalandhar North halqa in-charge Dinesh Dhall, the CM’s wife also met party workers who had gathered at the temple and thanked them for their support in the election.

Gurpreet Kaur also went to the house of industrialist Ankur Aggarwal where the party volunteers from Jalandhar West had gathered. She assured them that the promises made to voters would be fulfilled by the government.
