After addressing a gathering in Chandigarh two days ago, Sukhpal Khaira, Congress MLA from Bholath, will hold a rally at his native Ramgarh village of the Bholath Assembly segment on Sunday i.e. January 21.

Khaira, who was released from the Nabha jail after four months of imprisonment in the 2015 drug case, has been fiercely opposing the police action against him. He has been maintaining that since he has been vocal against the alleged misdeeds of the government, the AAP leadership was using the state machinery against him to get five frivolous FIRs lodged against him.

In what could also be his show of strength post bail granted by the Supreme Court, Khaira has started extending invite to people for the day.
