To ensure the smooth flow of traffic during foggy season, the traffic wing of police headed by Inspector Aman Kumar distributed and pasted more than 1,000 reflector stickers in Phagwara.

Superintendent of Police Rupinder Kaur Bhatti, who was present on the occasion, advised the vehicle drivers to strictly follow traffic rules to save human lives.

She, however, informed that SSP, Kapurthala, Vatsala Gupta has launched a special drive to educate people about different types of cyber crime. The SSP also released a helpline number 1930 to report cyber frauds. SSP Gupta said that ward and village defence committee meetings are being conducted by the SHOs of Phagwara in their respective areas.
