nawanshahr: Republic Day was celebrated at the ITI Ground in Nawanshahr. Cabinet Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra unfurled the national flag. Accompanied by dignitaries, including MLA Santosh Kataria, Nawanshahr MLA Nachhatar Pal, Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa and SSP Akhil Chaudhary, Jauramajra paid tributes at the Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh’s monument before unfurling the Tricolour. Addressing the gathering, Minister Jauramajra emphasised the contribution of Punjabis in the nation’s freedom struggle and outlined various initiatives undertaken during his tenure. The chief guest honoured 122 Punjab Police personnel for outstanding services.
