The Tanda police have registered a case against a couple for allegedly cheating a man of Rs 13.70 lakh on the pretext of sending him abroad.

Sukhdev Singh, a resident of Khudda village, told the police that Amandeep Singh, a resident of Ladowali Road, Jalandhar, along with his wife Mandeep Kaur, allegedly cheated him of Rs 13.70 lakh on the promise of sending him to Italy. After registering case against the couple, the police have started investigation into the matter.
