The ceremony marked a historic moment for Punjab badminton, as the state registered it’s highest-ever medal tally at national level championships. Among the prominent achievers, Manya Ralhan clinched the gold medal at the Khelo India University Games, while Viraaj Sharma, Inayat Gualti and Zorawar Singh won silver and bronze medals at the recently held Sub-Junior National Badminton Championship in Bhubaneswar. The Kartar Group also extended cash rewards to the medal winners and coach Gagan Ratti in recognition of their outstanding performance.

This success should inspire you to aim even higher and remain focused on your goals,” he said.

Punjab Badminton Association Secretary Ritin Khanna expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner and the Kartar Group for encouraging the players. He said such recognition motivates athletes to perform even better in future competitions.

Several state champions were also honoured during the function, including Mridul Jha, Samridhi Bhardwaj, Varanya Soni, Saanvi Ralhan, Viren Seth, Samarth Bhardwaj, Love Kumar and Shaurya Khanna.
