She directed the School Education Department, Health Department, Drug Controller, Excise and Taxation, Police, and other concerned departments to implement all necessary measures at their level to curb drug use.

In a separate Road Safety meeting, DC Jain instructed the authorities to enhance safety measures at identified black spots to prevent accidents. The Transport Department reported that 23 black spots have been marked in the district. Regarding the Safe School Vehicle Policy, the District Child Protection Officer informed that 126 school vehicles were checked in August, resulting in 5 challans, while the Police Department issued 4,207 challans as part of the enforcement drive during the same period.
