Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Panchal on Monday reviewed preparations for the grand Light and Sound Show scheduled at Guru Nanak Stadium, Kapurthala, on November 14. The event forms a key part of the commemorations marking the 350th martyrdom centenary of Guru Tegh Bahadur.

The DC announced that the 45-minute presentation, beginning around 5.30 pm, will depict the Guru’s extraordinary life, profound philosophy and supreme sacrifice through advanced digital storytelling. Entry to the stadium will open at 5 pm, with free admission for all.

“This show will be a captivating tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur’s timeless teachings. Everyone is warmly invited to witness this soul-stirring spectacle,” Panchal said.

He directed officials to ensure smooth entry, adequate seating and all essential amenities so that visitors face no inconvenience.

Municipal Corporation Commissioner Anupam Kaler, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Varinderpal Singh Bajwa, Assistant Commissioner Vishal Vats, Civil Surgeon Dr Sanjeev Bhagat, DPRO Subeg Singh Dhanju, XEN Vishal Jangraal and officers from various departments were also present at the review meeting.
