In a display of unity, the Bar Association, Phagwara, held an executive meeting via hybrid mode under the leadership of Ravinder Kumar Sharma, president of the association.

The meeting was convened in response to a state-level call for collective action given by the Amritsar Bar Association, following the unfortunate and tragic death of Advocate Lakhwinder Singh, a member of the Amritsar Bar.

Acknowledging the gravity of the incident and the emotional and professional impact it has had on the legal fraternity across Punjab, the executive body of the Bar Association, Phagwara, deliberated extensively on the matter. The session, attended by senior advocates and office-bearers, culminated in a unanimous resolution to observe “No Work Day” on Monday, as a mark of respect for the departed soul and to express unwavering support to the legal community in Amritsar.
