Hoshiarpur: Ahead of Independence Day, a flag march was held in the city under the supervision of DIG, Jalandhar Range, Naveen Singla and Surendra Lamba, SSP, Hoshiarpur. This flag march was taken out from Food Street via Session Chowk to Ghanta Ghar Chowk and then from there to Kamalpur Chowk. Singla said law and order would be maintained during Independence Day. Miscreants would not be allowed to take law into their own hands. He appealed to the people that if any suspicious person or object came to their notice, they should inform the police about it.— OC
