In his address, Mittal said every section of society should always be ready to serve religion and humanity by following the ideals of Lord Ram. Bali said charity and service were the highest tasks of life. He said since 2010, he had been associated with the social work of ashram chairman Tarsem Kapoor and every year he was a witness to the development taking place in the ashram. He said the cooperation given by the donors was being done in a transparent manner for the welfare of the needy.

Former MP Sushil Rinku said festivals like Diwali were equally important for the people living in the ashram, so it was the duty of the society not to let these dependents experience any kind of deprivation. Co-chairperson Sunita Kapoor welcomed all guests, highlighting the importance of Diwali.

During the function, Vijay Lakshmi gave Rs 5 lakh to the Lala Ram Kishore Kapoor Disabled Aid Trust, while Subhash Chander Sood contributed Rs 21,000. Kapur thanked all guests and dignitaries for their valuable time and continuous cooperation. The programme concluded with the bursting of firecrackers.
