Dr Savita Gupta Aeri joins as SD College principal

Dr Savita Gupta Aeri has joined SD College, Hoshiarpur, as its new principal. President of College Managing Committee Hema Sharma, Vice-President Chatur Bhushan Joshi, Secretary Gopal Sharma, Joint Secretary Tilak Raj Sharma, cashier Parmod Sharma and officiating Principal Parshant Sethi welcomed Dr Savita. Earlier, she was Professor and Head of the Department of Faculty Development, Human Resource Development Centre at Lovely Professional University.

On the occasion, Hema Sharma said it was a matter of pride that the college had secured B grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). “This recognition affirms the college’s unwavering dedication to academic excellence and its mission to uphold the values of Sanatan Dharma while embracing modern advancements,” she said. She added that the grade awarded by NAAC was a testament to the institution’s continued commitment to academic rigor and nurturing future-ready professionals. She said the college was an example of how tradition and modernity can harmoniously shape the future of education in the region.
