The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Phagwara, unanimously elected renowned eye surgeon Dr Tushar Aggarwal as president and physician Dr Poonam as secretary for the year 2025. The meeting was presided over by Dr Jasjit Singh Virk here last night.

Eminent physician Dr SP Singh Sooch participated as observer from the Punjab Medical Council. Dr Tushar Aggarwal said Dr Kamal Kishore and Dr Supreet Virk were elected vice-presidents, Dr Davinder Kaur as finance secretary and Dr Munish Jindal and Dr Anil Tandon as joint secretaries.

The meeting was attended by noted physician Dr S Mahindra, orthopaedic surgeon Dr Amrik Singh Parhar, skin specialist Dr Mohan Singh, Dr Gurpreet Kaur, Dr Vijay Sharma, Dr Puneet Galhotra, Dr Ranjit Nagpal, Dr Romesh Arora, Dr Chiman Arora, Dr GP Singh, Dr NPS Makkar, Dr JS Virk and Dr Inderjit Singh.
