The contraband, confiscated during various anti-narcotics operations, was destroyed under the supervision of the Drug Disposal Committee, led by SSP Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh.
The drugs destroyed included 62.3 kg of poppy husk, 932 gm of heroin, 270 gm of intoxicated powder, 10 gm of ganja, 850 gm of charas along with 290 tablets and 14 injections classified as medicinal drugs. The disposal took place at an authorised facility.
