Members of the Indian Federation of Trade Unions (IFTU) and Kirti Kisan Union burnt effigies of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at the Ambedkar Chowk here today.

State Press Secretary of the IFTU Jasveer Deep said the Haryana government was responsible for the death of young farmer Shubkaran during the repression of agitating farmers. “The BJP-led Haryana government has made the Punjab-Haryana border like the border of an enemy country,” he said.
