Winning the toss, Fatehgarh Sahib opted to bat first but struggled against Nawanshahr’s disciplined bowling attack, folding for just 104 runs in 30.5 overs. Bowlers Prabhkirat and Mohit proved instrumental, claiming three wickets each to put the hosts in a commanding position.

Eish’s flawless knock not only dismantled the opposition’s bowling attack but also set up a decisive lead of 195 runs for the hosts as Nawanshahr declared their innings at 299.

Faced with the daunting task of saving the match, Fatehgarh Sahib once again faltered in their second innings, managing only 124 runs. With this, Nawanshahr sealed victory by an innings and 71 runs.

Officials of the District Cricket Academy, including SK Sareen and coach Inder Kumar, heaped praise on Eish Rao for his outstanding batting display and commended bowlers Mohit Singh and Mohit Dhir for their crucial contributions.
