Hoshiarpur, March 9

The Indian Dental Association (IDA), Punjab, organised a state-level seminar on Sunday under the leadership of state president AS Riar. Dr Puneet Girdhar, registrar, Punjab Dental Council. Dr Anu Girdhar, chairperson Women Dental Council, Punjab, presided over the function.

State secretary Dr Sachin Dev Mehta, ex-president Dr Pankaj Shiv, Dr Harjinder, president Elect Dr Avnish Ohri, president Hoshiarpur branch Dr Karan Chawla and WDC Hoshiarpur Chairperson Dr Vibha Gupta were the guests of honour.

Speaker and expert Dr S Mahalaxmi from Chennai delivered the keynote lecture on latest endodontics techniques. Rangoli, skit on Thomas Elva Edison and discussion on the role of males and females in society were organised to commemorate the Women’s Day by Dr Meenakshi, Dr Shalini, Dr Shipra, Dr Rashmi, Dr Gagan and Dr Rashim Baruta.

Two women e-rickshaw drivers were also felicitated on the ocassion.
