MC Commissioner Aditya Uppal, who joined the office on Monday, held meetings with officials of various wings.

He was also extended welcome by representatives of various unions today. The commissioner said it was his priority to ensure that there was cleanliness in the city.

“Sewerage system will also be looked after. Various projects being run by the Municipal Corporation will also be reviewed. Beautification of the city will be on the list too,” said Aditya while talking to the media.

He also asked officials concerned to visit night shelters in the city and make sure that nobody was sleeping outside in this chilly weather.

Senior MC official Vikrant Verma also held a meeting with the eater supply wing and asked the officials to ensure that they meet the target of recovery in the current financial year.
