The police have implemented extensive security measures across the district ahead of the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections scheduled for December 14. To reinforce public confidence and maintain order, coordinated flag marches headed by Superintendent of Police Madhvi Sharma was conducted in Phagwara today.

DSP, Phillaur, Bharat Masih led the flag march in Goraya and Phagwara today. The coordinated movement of police units across these regions aimed to reassure voters and deter any attempts at disrupting the electoral process.During the flag march at village Dhapai, SSP Gaurav Toora said that comprehensive preparedness has been ensured across the district.
