The Daily Morning Football Club, Nawanshahr, organised a football match on November 16 to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The event, held at JSFN Khalsa Senior Secondary School grounds, was led by Club President Ajay Mehra.

Tarsem Lal, Deputy Mass Media Officer from the Civil Surgeon's Office and Chairman of the club, shared that the exhibition match was played between the Daily Morning Football Club and the Aur Block Football Club, Nawanshahr.

In the first half, players from the Daily Morning Football Club, including Rowin, Deepay, Ajay Sareen, Bhavneet Jagara, Varinder Singh, Vikram, Manju Bali, Boota Singh Bains, Tarsem Lal, Mukhtiar Rai, Sarabjit Singh, Ajay Mehra, Harry Singh, Avtar Singh, Mintan Guzar Puriya, Dheeraj Kumar, and Varinder, coordinated well. A brilliant move led to Gora scoring the match's only goal.

The Aur Block Football Club, featuring players Gurdip Guru, Gurnam Singh, Jeevan, Mukesh Kumar, Jatinder, Billa Gosal, Jatinder Poonia, Sarabjit, Rajinder Singh, Gurdeep Malo Mazaran, Baljit Singh, and Bhupinder Singh, made multiple attempts in the second half. However, strong goalkeeping by Ajay Sareen and solid defense from Sarabjit Singh, Tarsem Lal, Bhavneet Jagara, and Mintan Guzar Puriya kept them from scoring. The Daily Morning Football Club secured a 1-0 victory.
