Officials have recovered four keypad mobile phones from the Hoshiarpur Central Jail premises. Two separate FIRs have been registered and one suspect has been booked in this connection. According to information, Assistant Superintendent Manjit Singh of the Central Jail stated in his complaint that when the police came to drop Harish, alias Harsh, a prisoner against whom several cases had been registered, three keypad mobile phones were recovered from him during his search.

In the second case, Assistant Superintendent Satnam Singh told the police that during search of the jail barrack number one, one keypad mobile phone was recovered.
