GNDU college observes 647th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas

Jalandhar, February 22

Guru Nanak Dev University College, Ladowali road, today observed the 647th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas. They remembered his teachings and honoured the legacy of the revered spiritual figure.

MP Sushil Kumar Rinku was the chief guest. He spoke about the significance of the teachings of Guru Ravidas. Professor Surinder Kumar Minda, Principal, DAV College Phillaur, and senior AAP leader Harjinder Ladda were special guests on the occasion.

Professor Kamlesh Singh Duggal accorded a warm welcome to all the guests and attendees. The MP said the message of unity transcending barriers of caste and religion was one of the core themes of Guru Ravida’s teachings.

Keynote speaker professor Minda underscored the importance of embracing and embodying the principles espoused by Guru Ravidas, encouraging collective adherence to his teachings for societal harmony and progress.
