Hoshiarpur: Vyapar Mandal Gaushala Bazar gets new cheif

Hoshiarpur: Election meeting of the Vyapar Mandal Gaushala Bazar was held at SD Senior Secondary School here. During this, Master Satpal Gupta was unanimously appointed as the chairman and Rajan Gupta as the president while Yashpal Gupta was appointed as the general secretary. Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha president Pandit Sham Sundar Modgil attended the meeting. Addressing the meeting, chairman Master Satpal Gupta said a special team would be formed to assist traders in resolving the problems faced during the course of their business. He said in order to strengthen business, the said committee would try to communicate the problems of the traders of the area to the government and the administration. OC

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
